Over the last few years, Tonelería Nacional has gained considerable acclaim in the industry and appreciation from its clients for its technological innovations and constant dedication to quality.
This acclaim has not come free; we assign considerable human- and economical resources to R&D, product investigation and staff training, and are truly committed to our client’s need to surprise their observers and final customers.

We are also permanently involved in the development of new technologies for the wine industry, through strategic alliances with the world’s most prestigious research institutes, and always pleased to share our findings with our clients and the industry in general.
The more tangible results of our efforts are the incorporation of remote controlled ovens for convection toasting, the development of proprietary software for process control and an in-house laboratory for testing and tasting.

Our ultimate goal is to fully meet every technical and quality requirement, as we are committed to create and maintain a mutually beneficial collaboration.
We applied for the International Standards Organization Quality Management System Certification in May 2003 and successfully culminated the process in March 2004.
We are now ISO Norm 9001-2000 certified, and validated by quality assurance agencies of international prestige such as UKAS (U.K.), ANSI Rab (U.S.A.) and INN Chile.
We are only the second cooper in the world with ISO 9001-2000.
Its scope covers the following aspects:
• Manufacture and selling of oak barrels for the production of fine wines.
• Design, manufacturing, sales and installation of Inserstave Tech-Stave and other oak alternative products for the production of fine wines.
